Welcome, to You, as one of America's College Students;

Please let me introduce myself. My name is Stephen Van Hecke, and I'm the Author of this Web-Site. I'm writing this Open Letter to You, and to all of America's College Students.

Most of you will have come to this Site from a friend who sent it to You through one of the Social Networks . . . who got it from a friend . . . who got it from a friend . . . and so on, back to the original sender who's a Student at the University of Dayton ( Dayton, Ohio ).

Your friend who

This Web-Site is introducing a Project entitled "Students to Pupils".

The 'Students' part of that title is meant for You as one of America's College Students. And, the 'Pupils' are lots and lots of Grade School Kids throughout Africa that don't have desks, so they sit on the ground in their classrooms.

So, how would You - a College Student home for the summer, or any College Student home for the summer in any HomeTown in America - be able to do anything about Kids in Africa that don't have Desks to sit on so they'd have a much better chance to learn ??

can learn like You get involved with

Please let me introduce myself. My name is Stephen Van Hecke, and I'm the Author of this Web-Site. I'm writing this Open Letter to introduce a Project that this Web-Site is about an Initiative that my Web-Site is introducing to You as one of America's College Students, and to College Students in all 50 States.

I want to introduce You to a UNICEF Project that this Web-Site is adopting as its way to particpate in helping with a solvable problem. It's a problem that, fortunately, no Student in America has to face - trying to learn in a classroom while sitting on a dirt floor. And, no Town in America has not provided desks to its Students to help them learn.

Initiative that my Web-Site is introducing for this summer.

Briefly, my Web-Site is all about preserving the Photographic Heritage of America's Towns. And, that not only means finding as many OLD photos from throughout the Decades of your Town from the Local Historical Society, City Hall and maybe, your Library, but it, also, means Photos taken of your Town as it is, Today.

This Web-Site wants to preserve and make accessable to everyone with just the click of a mouse, those Photos of America's HomeTowns - your Town - that portrays each Town - photos from your Town's 'Past', as well as, Photos of your Town of 'today'.

While you're at home for the summer, You can participate in making this happen. All You need is your digital camera, and a couple of hours of your time.

And, You'll be recognized for your participation. The Photos that You take will be viewed by your Town's Residents ( and the world ) not only of Today, but those of the Future, as well - 10, 25, 50, 100 years from now.

I am asking You, and each Student who is reading this brief overview of the Initiative to find it to be an interesting, a simple and fun way to participate in adding to your Town's and see if You might be interested, and then to also, send it on through your network of 'friends'.

Just as it is with the uniqueness of every State, every Town in each State, also, has its own unique History and Heritage. The Photos that You take of your Town will photographically preserve for your Town and for the Future some of that History and Heritage that is unique of your Town.

You will, also, be recognized for your participation with your Name, College or University, and the Names of your HomeTown and its Mayor. You can see this "America's College Students Recognition" Page by Clicking below.
